Honeymoon Body Art is a private tattoo and piercing studio by Olivia Solak and Ricky Canavan-Wagner. Both Berkshire County natives, Ricky bought his first tattoo machine in 2005 at the age of 14 and has been professionally licensed since 2024 while Olivia has worked for several years piercing ears professionally and is currently working though her apprenticeship.
While primarily a home for the two to perfect and share their craft, Honeymoon differentiates itself with its activism and commitment to justice for working people everywhere. From grocery stores who partner with ICE to rat on their own employees, to weapons manufacturers who make Israel’s genocide in Gaza’s possible, Honeymoon stands in strong opposition to oppression and exploitation everywhere and offers its resources and platform to mutual-aid networks and movement efforts.
Working people are increasingly being priced out of the entire economy and body art is no exception. As other shops sell their tattoos as luxury items, tattoos are increasingly being thought of as status symbols exclusive to those who can afford them. Honeymoon Body Art takes offense to this perversion of our industry and is committed to serving Berkshire County’s working class, ensuring tattoos remain affordable and high quality pieces of self expression.
