Honeymoon Body Art is a tattoo and piercing studio by husband and wife team Ricky Canavan-Wagner and Olivia Solak. Both Berkshire County natives, Ricky bought his first tattoo machine at the age of 14 and has been professionally licensed since 2024 while Olivia has pierced ears professionally for several years and is currently working through her body art apprenticeship.

While primarily a home to explore and share their craft, Honeymoon also serves as a way to give back to Berkshire County’s working class at a time when seemingly every industry and institution is engaging in inflationary price gouging. As a result, working people are increasingly being priced out of the economy at large and self expression itself is becoming a luxury commodity few can afford.

Honeymoon’s explicit mission is to counter these trends, to undermine the commodification of body art more broadly, and, in doing so, to demonstrate that a different model is possible. One where values aren’t compromised for profit, where all work is done with passion and love—not generative AI, and one which can accommodate all budgets to deliver stylish work at an affordable price.
